Prehistoric Nuclear Reactor In Gabon Republic

Two billion years ago, where the Gabon Republic is now located in Africa, there existed a huge nuclear reactor that was operative for five hundred thousand years.

Oklo is the site of a uranium mine in the Gabon Republic. France obtains much of the uranium used in its nuclear program from this mine. In 1972 when uranium ore from this mine was introduced into a French gaseous diffusion plant, it was discovered that the feed uranium was depleted below the 0.711 w% of ordinary natural uranium. It seemed as if the uranium had already been used. The French government announced the finding and took the whole world by surprise.
Scientists investigated the uranium mine and the results were made public at a conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The uranium indeed had been used. One may wonder what exactly happened at Oklo?

French scientists found traces of fission products and fuel wastes at various locations within the mine area. These observations were puzzling at first because it is not possible for natural uranium to go critical, except under very special circumstances such as the presence of graphite or heavy water as a moderator, neither of which could reasonably be expected to have been present in the vicinity of Oklo.

The half-life of U235 is 7.13E8 years, which is considerably shorter than the half-life of U238 at 4.51E9 years. Since the original formation of the earth, more of the U235 had decayed than the U238. This means that the natural uranium ore had a much higher uranium concentration many years ago than it does today. Indeed, it is easy to show that about 3 billion years ago the U235 concentration was in the neighborhood of 3 w%, sufficiently high to reach the critical point for a chain reaction to occur in ordinary water, which was present near Oklo at that time.

Surprisingly, this uranium mine's nuclear reactor was well designed. Studies indicate that this reactor was several miles in length. However, for such a huge nuclear reactor, the thermal impact to its environment was limited to 40 meters on all sides. Even more astonishing is the fact that the radioactive wastes have still not migrated outside the mine site. They are held in place by the surrounding geology.

Faced with these findings, scientists consider the mine to be a 'naturally occurring' nuclear reactor. The Oklo reactor has been documented for its importance as an analogue (a structural derivative of a parent compound) in the disposal of nuclear fuel wastes. But few people are bold enough to go one step further.

As a matter of fact, many people today know that the reactor is a relic from a prehistoric civilization. It's probable that two billion years ago there was a fairly advanced civilization living at a place now called Oklo. This civilization was technologically superior to today's civilization. Compared to this huge 'natural' nuclear reactor, our current nuclear reactors are far less impressive.

@AndiPrama: RT @AndiPrama: In the 1990's Pathfinder and now Curiosity, 'analyze' in Mars with the same binoculars? Obama, you are out of your mind!

  • linuxryan2 (signed in using yahoo)
What are you on about? Binoculars?

FYI, Obama had nothing to do with the design or manufacturing of Curiosity. He's President, not an engineer.

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
You don't get the bottom line. Where do you come from?

  • les.higgins (signed in using yahoo)
Andi Prama WHAT? WTF are you batting your gums about? Binoculars, botton line, Obama ... what?

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
Just follow my tweet @AndiPrama you dumb fuck.

you know?? you don't help your argument by resorting to childish name calling. Have some respect or don't waste people's time here.

BTW your original post makes absolutely no sense at all. What can Obama possibly have to do with Curiosity and Pathfinder??

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
Hey Bret dumb fuck, are you Americans? Who's your President now? Who's your President when Pathfinder was launched? I was born in Arlington, VA. too, dickhead.

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
Bret Williams and hey, my twitter? @AndiPrama? Go there now!

  • Bret Williams ·  Top Commenter · Spokane, Washington
Don't have Twitter you twit...and yes I'm American although I don't see why I have to provide proof of any sort to a foul mouthed little child like yourself.

Forget I asked anything since its clear you have no intention of being in the least bit civil in answering some simple questions.

Thanks again for providing absolute proof as to why some people are alive ONLY because its against the law to kill them...

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
What? The law to kill them? I don't get it. Are you talking about James Holmes or hmmm... if you have 'cruisin' to my blog, I mentioned Cho Seung-Hui. Have you ever heard of him, stupid?

  • Bret Williams ·  Top Commenter · Spokane, Washington
You make my point for me...child

What does any of this babble you are posting have to do with this article's topic??

And why would I follow a blog from a Neanderthal whose vocabulary consists many of four letter words??

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
Ah you, Predator (Aliens vs Predators movie).
See, people, there are so many alien races. This, whom I'm talking to, is the bad aliens. So, Bret, let's make war! (in another planet, people).

  • Bret Williams ·  Top Commenter · Spokane, Washington
Still haven't answered my question. What does your original post have to do with the article topic??

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
You talk to Chief of Staff there in Pentagon, Washington, ass hole.

  • Bret Williams ·  Top Commenter · Spokane, Washington
What is your problem?? I'm asking a simple question in an effort to understand what you are talking about and you continue to be abusive. Not exactly the best way to get people to listen to what you have to say??

Worse yet, you continue the foul language in order to convey what?? That you are not intelligent enough to express yourself without the use of profanity??

I'm asking sincerely, what does your original post have to do with the subject of this article??

  • Andi Prama · Trisakti University
This article was posted on www.spaceflightnow.com and talking about Curiosity, which, is a 'llie', as to lie in 'Obama's jink' Mars mission. Got that, Pentagon?

  • Bret Williams ·  Top Commenter · Spokane, Washington
But Obama DID NOT have anything to do with the construction of Curiosity's computers?? So I'm still missing why your original post is relevant to the topic of Curiosity's computers??

What part of THIS article is a "lie," as you call it? Again I'm asking sincerely...

And I can guarantee several things for you:

    1) I am not an Obama fan in the least bit

    2) I've never been even remotely close to the Pentagon.

    3) You are so tied up in being mad about "something" so badly that you are unable to be anything but abusive.

The Egyptian Pyramids: Humans and aliens collaboration?

According to most beliefs, pyramids were built with the help of great armies of slaves, by the ancient pharaohs of Egypt as tombs for preserving their royal bodies.  Pyramids were meant to be monuments to the pharaoh’s greatness, filled with great treasures for the afterlife.  There is only one problem with this popular theory, the Great Pyramid itself contains no pharaoh’s body, no treasure chamber, and no treasures.  Since no bodies or treasures were found this opens up a door for the possibility that the pyramids were built by aliens using their far-more advanced technology than the Egyptians had 4500 years ago when the pyramids were built.  This article contains proof that the Egyptians did not build the pyramids and will elaborate on: How could the Egyptians build such structures, why the pyramids were built in their location, how long it would take to build these pyramids and how many people.

One issue that appears is how have the Egyptians built such massive structures without advanced technology?  This structures is twenty times larger than the Burj Dubai, the Pyramid’s features are so large they can be seen from the Moon.  Dr Iorwerth Eiddon Stephen Edwards believes that a very long ramp was used.  He says, “only one method of raising heavy weights was open to the ancient Egyptians, namely by means by ramps composed of brick and earth which sloped upwards from the level of the ground to whatever height was desired".  There are a few problems with his theory one is that the ramp would probably end up being over a mile long, meaning that the ramp itself would be harder to build than the pyramid. I.E.S. Edwards also says, "finally, when the wall had been built to its full height, the ramp would be dismantled”.  Dismantling the ramp would probably take years, and where would all the rocks be put?  This long ramp seems very unlikely; even if it were used it would still take over a Pharaoh’s lifetime to build.

Another interesting issue, is numbers. Calculate the perimeter of the pyramid, and divide it by two times the height, a number that is exactly equivalent to the number pi (3.14159…) up to the fifteenth digit is produced. The chances of this happening are remarkably small.  Did the ancient Egyptians know what the number pi was?  Not likely, seeing as it was a number not calculated accurately to the fourth digit, until the 6th century; and the pyramids calculate it to the fifteenth.  Another interesting fact is that the height of the pyramid (481 feet) is almost exactly 1/1,000,000,000 of the distance from the earth to the sun (480.6 billion feet).  How would the Egyptians know how far the earth is from the sun? Another believer of aliens quotes:

"If you take the line of longitude that the pyramid lies on, and the latitude that the pyramid lies on, 31 degrees north, by 31 degrees west they are the two lines that cover the most combined land area in the world".

No way the Egyptians knew how to calculate these figures and it is nearly impossible for all these numbers to be coincidental.  Only someone more advanced would know these figures.

Another important issue is the time it would take to build one of the pyramids.  Believers of the Egyptians having built the pyramids say that they were built over a pharaoh’s span, which for Khufu who had the largest pyramid built for him was around 20 years.  For the average pyramid, 100 heavy rocks that weighed about two tons each had to be carved carried and piled on top of each other per hour. Erich von Däniken quotes:

"If the industrious workers had achieved the extraordinary daily piece rate of ten blocks piled on top of each other, they would have assembled the 2,600,000 stone blocks into the magnificent stone pyramid in about 250,000 days-664 years".

Six hundred and sixty-four years is a very long life span for a human being.  Surely the Egyptians would have encountered problems trying to build a pyramid in at 20-year period.

Imagine counting the number of people it would take to build the pyramids.  To pull all the stones needed to build the pyramid in a quick amount of time, the Egyptians would need a couple hundred people per block, this would add up to thousands of people which would be impossible to put together in one area.  Charles E. Sellier argues, "52,500 men all jammed together, shoulder to shoulder, pulling and sliding in mud, while maneuvering huge blocks at great heights, presents a ridiculous scenario".  According to Erich von Däniken, "experts now estimate the number of inhabitants at the time of building the pyramid to be at around 50,000,000, that is quite interesting because the pyramids where built around 3000 B.C. and the population of the world was estimated at around 20,000,000 people. How could the Egyptians have built the pyramids if they did not have enough people?".  This itself proves the Egyptians could not have built the pyramids.

These arguments prove that it was nearly impossible for the Egyptians to have built the pyramids.  How would they do it, if they used a mile long ramp, it would take just as long to build and break down as it would take to build the pyramid alone.  How did they know about pi?  Or about the distance from the earth to the sun? Or where the center of the earth is?

The Belt of Orion

Another argument is how could they build in less than 20 years, this would take a miracle, the people would have to carve, carry, and lift 100 rocks per hour.  If they could somehow manage to do that than they would need more people than the entire population of world, which is impossible unless there are others living amongst us.  Not even the modern world could build such structures with their advanced technology; the Egyptians had no technology.  The pyramids must have been built by a far more advanced civilization than the Egyptians or the modern day.
